Katherine Koniares, M.D.

Dr. Katherine Koniares is a Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility Fellow at the Center for Advanced Reproductive Services. As a fellow within our practice, you may see Dr. Katherine Koniares at points during your care, however, new patient appointments cannot be scheduled with Fellows. Please refer to our lead physicians for patient appointment scheduling.

Dr. Koniares graduated from Georgetown University School of Medicine in 2017. She is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Clinical and Translational Research from the University of Connecticut School of Medicine and has completed graduate coursework in epidemiology, global health, and medical neuroscience.

Dr. Koniares completed her residency at Tufts Medical Center, in the Department of Ob/Gyn. During her time at Tufts, she won several awards, including the Excellence in Teaching Award, the Society of Laparoscopic and Robotic Surgeons Resident Award, and the George Mitchell Research Award. Her commitment to academics and education has led Dr. Koniares to give lectures on numerous Ob/Gyn topics. She has also published several book chapters and multiple research articles in journals such as Fertility and Sterility, the Journal of Assisted Reproduction and Genetics, and OBG Management. Her clinical interests span all areas of assisted reproduction, and she is particularly passionate about advocating for insurance coverage of fertility treatment and access to care.
