Fertility Medication Cost & Savings Options in Connecticut

Including Information About TrumpRx

At CARS, we are committed to guiding every fertility journey with expert care, seamless access, and trusted support. As a partner in your fertility journey, we are also focused on helping make treatment more affordable by breaking down options that may help reduce the cost of fertility medications.

Connecticut has one of the more comprehensive infertility insurance mandates in the country. However, fertility medication cost in Connecticut may still involve out-of-pocket expenses due to:

  • Deductibles
  • Co-insurance
  • Medication benefit limitations
  • Self-funded employer plans that are exempt from state requirements
  • Individual coverage varies by employer and insurer.

Fertility medication costs in Connecticut can vary based on insurance coverage, pharmacy benefits, and individual treatment plans, which may result in out-of-pocket expenses for some patients. We are committed to working with patients who find themselves without a fertility drug benefit to identify the absolute best, low-cost option for them. We are pleased to present information on the following options available through our center. Our Financial Services Representative will work closely with patients to identify the best possible option.

Options for Self Pay Patients

Possibilities Programs. Patients participating in one of our Possibilities Programs–through our specialized relationship with the New Life Program and specific fertility drug manufacturers as well as other cost savings programs– will have access to medications savings ranging from $300-$600 per cycle.

Fertility Medication Pricing Program – Patient FAQs

These FAQs are designed for landing pages, patient education materials, and staff reference.

In most cases, it does not change where your prescription is sent. Your clinical team will continue sending prescriptions to the appropriate pharmacy. If you choose to use the manufacturer’s pricing program, you may need to register online to receive a discount code and provide that code to your pharmacy.

No. Your medical care and prescriptions do not change. TrumpRx.gov and FertilityInstantSavings.com provide access to manufacturer pricing information and potential discount coupons for eligible medications. Participation is optional.

For many patients paying out-of-pocket, the manufacturer pricing program may reduce medication costs when used at participating pharmacies. Your final cost depends on your insurance coverage, pharmacy processing, and eligibility. Pricing is determined by the manufacturer and may change.

If your insurance already covers your fertility medications, this program may not change your cost. How pricing is processed depends on your pharmacy and insurance plan. We recommend speaking with your pharmacy or financial coordinator to review your specific situation.

No. You do not need to be prescribed all eligible medications. Savings eligibility is based on each individual prescription. Not all fertility medications are included in this program, and patients may be prescribed additional medications depending on their treatment plan. We recommend checking with your doctor or care team to understand your specific prescriptions and whether they may qualify.

Both sites provide access to the same manufacturer fertility medication pricing program. FertilityInstantSavings.com is the manufacturer’s preferred registration site and includes additional program details and pharmacy participation information. TrumpRx.gov provides access to a discount code with more limited information.

Discounted pricing applies only at participating pharmacies. Participation details are available on the registration website. Your care team can help guide you if you have questions.

Yes. The Compassionate Care program offers income-based pricing for eligible patients. Applications require tax documentation and are reviewed by the manufacturer. Eligibility and pricing tiers are determined by the manufacturer.

According to the manufacturer, information collected during registration is used for program administration purposes. Patients should review the privacy policy provided on the registration website for full details about how information is handled.
