Fertility Testing near Me

For couples and individuals who are struggling to conceive, fertility testing is the first step on your path to parenthood. At The Center for Advanced Reproductive Services (CARS), we offer comprehensive fertility testing to help identify and address any underlying issues affecting your ability to conceive and sustain a pregnancy.

Our fertility specialists (board certified reproductive endocrinologists) provide personalized care to guide you through this process so you can make fully informed decisions about your fertility treatments.

Why Fertility Treatments Require Testing

Fertility testing helps to assess the health and function of both male and female reproductive systems. By identifying potential obstacles before starting treatments, fertility testing allows for more targeted plans, increasing your chances of conception.

Personalized Fertility Testing at CARS

We understand that fertility and conception are a deeply personal and often emotional journey. During your first consultation, our specialists will review your family history and fertility health in depth so that we can recommend the right tests and collaborate on a plan for you.

Our team works closely with you to ensure the testing process is as effective and easy to navigate as possible and allows us to uncover as much information about your health and fertility as possible. Once we have a complete evaluation, we can move forward in discussing with you which treatments are most likely to support your family-growing goals.

What Fertility Testing Do We Offer?

At CARS, we offer a variety of fertility tests to help uncover the root cause of infertility. We will only recommend testing after we have finished the first consultation. Some of the most common tests that we may provide, as needed, include:

  • Hormone panel (cycle day 3 + mid-luteal): FSH, LH, estradiol, AMH, prolactin, TSH; mid-luteal progesterone to confirm ovulation
  • Androgens (testosterone/DHEA-S): when PCOS or hirsutism suspected
  • Semen analysis: evaluate count, motility, morphology (Kruger), DNA fragmentation, antisperm antibodies; scrotal/transrectal ultrasound for varicocele or obstruction
  • Ovarian reserve imaging: transvaginal ultrasound for antral follicle count and ovarian volume
  • Tubal/uterine imaging: HSG for patency; saline-infusion sonogram for polyps, fibroids, adhesions
  • Invasive procedures as needed: hysteroscopy, laparoscopy for endometriosis or intrauterine pathology
  • Genetic & infection screens: carrier panels, STI panels, thyroid antibodies, thrombophilia when indicated
  • Saline infusion sonogram (sonohysterography): transvaginal ultrasound with sterile saline distention that outlines the uterine cavity and fallopian tubes
